Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pepzio mobile application ("App") published on the Apple App Store under bundle identifier com.pepzio.app. By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Pepzio is a personal data logging application designed for informational and research tracking purposes only. The App allows users to:

• Log and track personal research protocols
• Manage vial inventory and dose records
• Record notes and progress data
• View trends and analytics based on logged data
• Optionally sync data with Apple Health (with explicit permission)

3. Not Medical Advice

Pepzio is a data logging tool only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or any form of health guidance. Nothing in the App should be construed as medical advice or a substitute for professional medical consultation.

You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any decisions related to your health. Use of this App does not create a doctor-patient or healthcare provider relationship.

Pepzio is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

4. Age Requirement

You must be at least 17 years of age to use this App. By using Pepzio, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years old. If you are under 17, you are not permitted to use the App.

5. User Accounts

Pepzio offers optional account creation for cloud backup and cross-device sync. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not create accounts using automated means or false identities

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Pepzio offers optional Pro subscriptions that unlock additional features. All subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and governed by Apple's terms and conditions.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• We do not handle or store your payment information — all transactions are managed by Apple
• No refunds are provided except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies
• A free trial, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pepzio only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to store or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its servers
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

8. Intellectual Property

The App and all content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Pepzio and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Privacy

Your use of Pepzio is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You assume all responsibility for any damage to your device or loss of data that results from use of the App.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PEPZIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pepzio and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pepzio regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings.
